Dr. Ryan Vickers currently serves as the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program Coordinator.
Bio:

Dr. Ryan Vickers, PT, DPT started with the Brooks Rehabilitation System as a student in 2016, when he completed two clinical rotations in outpatient. After graduating from the University of St. Augustine, he proceeded to complete both the Brooks Orthopaedic Residency and the Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. Once he became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist and a Fellow of AAOMPT, he relocated to the Fleming Island clinic as the Center Manager. In addition to management and treating patients, Ryan has been heavily involved in both the mentoring of Orthopaedic residents as well as taking on DPT students for their clinical rotations. He has also taught several continuing education courses through Brooks and served as the Outpatient Orthopaedic Program Coordinator. Outside of the Brooks System, Ryan is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, having presented at AAOMPT conferences in the past and currently acting as a member of both the DEI Task Force and the Media & Public Relations Committee. His experiences in each of these roles has led to a growing passion for clinical education and clinical practice enhancement for clinicians of all backgrounds and in all stages of their careers.
