Our Recreational Therapy Program offers highly competitive internships for a minimum of 15-weeks at the Brooks Inpatient Hospital. During a Recreational Therapy Internship with Brooks Inpatient Rehabilitation, you will experience and engage in: 1:1 treatment sessions with patients, small and large groups (cooking, horticulture, art, etc.), community reintegration outings and educational sessions. There are also volunteer and shadowing opportunities through the Brooks Clubhouse, Brooks Adaptive Sports Program, and Brooks Pediatric Recreation Program.
