Bio:

Danielle is the Director of Rehabilitation at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital – Bartram Campus. Previously, Danielle worked as a speech-language pathologist working at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital as the Therapy Manager of the Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and Pediatric programs. Danielle has been with Brooks for 9 years and previously worked as an SLP in early intervention, public schools, private practice, and skilled-nursing.

Butler University – Bachelor of Arts, Communication Disorders

Vanderbilt School of Medicine – Masters, Speech -Language Pathology

Areas of Interest:

Danielle is most passionate about cognitive rehabilitation, patient and family counseling, and developing others through mentoring.

 

 

Academic & Professional Activities:

Danielle worked as an adjunct professor at Jacksonville University teaching pre-requisites in Neuroanatomy and Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech and Hearing Mechanism. She guest lectures annual at Jacksonville University for the graduate level course, Cognitive Rehabilitation.

Danielle has presented for the Brooks Advanced Practice Series (BAPS) and has provided a continuing education course for the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning.  Danielle has presented at state and national conferences and provided in-services at several hospitals throughout Florida.
