  • Jennifer Schinke, PT, DPT, NCS, PCS

    Dr. Jennifer Schinke currently serves as the Therapy Manager for the Pediatric and Brain Injury Programs at the Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital. Her duties include oversight and development of her clinical staff across all disciplines as well as greater hospital development across the 157 bed facility.

    Dr. Schinke is recognized by the APTA for receiving Board Certification in both Pediatrics and Neurology. She serves as a faculty member for the Brooks Neurologic Residency program, teaching content in her areas of specialty and mentoring residency clinicians in the clinical setting.

    Dr. Schinke’s passion is brain injury, particularly related to pediatrics. She is an active member of the Neurology and Pediatric sections of the APTA.

    Dr. Schinke serves as a guest lecturer at the University of North Florida where she has taught lectures related to both pediatrics and brain injury. In addition, she serves as a faculty member for the Brooks Neurologic Residency Program and is working to develop a Brooks Pediatric Residency Program for 2014.

    Dr. Schinke has taught multiple continuing education courses related to her interest in brain injury at the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning. Topics have included current trends in the management of brain injury, acute management of vestibular dysfunction, and early management of the trauma patient.
